Avalon, a full-service real estate development and management company with over $1 billion of real estate experience across Hawaii, recruited us to refine the Brand Identity and create sales collateral for a project focused on continued revitalization of Downtown Honolulu: Modea. Formerly known as the Davies Pacific Center, this commercial-turned-residential space has the sophistication of New York, LA, Tokyo, and Seoul. Residents can enjoy not only the incredible natural surroundings the area provides, but experience Hawaii's art, culture, and Michelin-starred dining scene.
The team came to us to create a refined brand identity and comprehensive sales collateral for their commercial-to-residential conversion, reflecting the sophistication of cosmopolitan living while honoring the natural beauty and cultural richness of Hawaii.
From there, we needed to establish a visual language that could communicate urban luxury and tropical ease in equal measure. We then needed to extend that identity across every touchpoint — from website and newsletters to business cards and window clings — creating a cohesive sales ecosystem for prospective residents.

Project Objective
- Brand Repositioning
- Brand Operations
Services
- Visual Identity
- Digital Experiences
- Physical Brand Touchpoints
Project Outcomes
- Established a Brand for Cultural Resonance
- Created a Mechanism for Operations
First, we needed to define and codify a brand position that married urban sophistication with tropical ease, translating that duality into both words and visuals for a discerning residential audience.
We did so by creating an elevated identity system with refined typography, warm yet sophisticated color palettes, and structured layouts that extend across websites, newsletters, business cards, and window clings — every touchpoint designed to communicate luxury, culture, and the promise of having it all.
